Step Wise Instructions for the Setup of a PPTP Connection on a System Running on Mac OS 10.5

  • After filling in the above mentioned details in their respective fields, click on the ‘Authentication Settings’ button to proceed to the next step of the configuration.
  • Here you will be prompted for the password for the connection. Enter the password that your VPN service provider has given you with the welcome mail or in another mail.
  • Click on the ‘OK’ button, when done with the above mentioned settings.
  • With this step, you are finished with the creation and the configuration of the desired PPTP based connection for your Mac based system. Click on the ‘Connect’ button to establish a connection with the server.
